Please mark your calendars now for: The 12th annual Rural Policy Conference of the Canadian Rural Restructuring Foundation, organised in co-operation with Statistics Canada, Alfred, Ontario, October 11-14, 2000. Réservez maintenant afin d'assister au : 12e colloque annuel sur la politique rurale de la Fondation canadienne de la restructuration rurale, organisé en collaboration avec Statistique Canada, Alfred (Ontario), du 11 au 14 octobre 2000. Through round-table discussions, workshops, presentations and site visits, the conference will address four main themes: the impact of municipal restructuring on the development of rural regions; the importance of agriculture in the rural economy; demographic trends in rural areas; and the structure of employment in rural areas.
