9AM - 5PM    FIELD TRIPS Five field trips are planned for Monday October 28. Each of these field trips has two purposes: to showcase some of the interesting and exciting developments in the region; and to provide an opportunity for your input into local development issues. Citizens and organizations in the region are interested in your ideas and suggestions for moving forward. The field trips will continue with an in-conference action planning session on the morning of October 29.  The five field trips are:

Engaging Citizens in Natural Resource Management Along the Miramichi

Agricultural Development & Diversification in the Acadian Peninsula

Capitalizing on Information Technology & the Knowledge-based Economy in the City of Miramichi

The Changing Social and Economic Face of Neguac

Advancing Tourism-based Economies in the Kent region
