CRRF/NRE2 Fall Conference

 CRRF Annual Fall Conference 2004

The Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation, in cooperation with the Tweed Chamber of Commerce, held its annual conference in Tweed, Ontario (about 2 hours from Ottawa), from Oct. 14-16, 2004. Results from the ongoing research under the New Rural Economy project were highlighted, as well as issues being identified under the CRRF - Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) alliance relating to innovations in local governance, particularly concerning rural-urban interaction.
