CRRF Annual Fall Conference 2004

The
Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation,
in cooperation with the Tweed Chamber
of Commerce, held its annual conference in Tweed, Ontario
(about 2 hours from Ottawa), from Oct. 14-16, 2004. Results from the ongoing research under the New Rural Economy
project were highlighted, as well as issues being identified under the CRRF -
Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM)
alliance relating to innovations in local governance, particularly
concerning rural-urban interaction.
